(kind of)
I took the MSF course over memorial Day and ended up buying my bike the next weekend. It's a 2021 CB500X. For context I'm 29F, 5'6".
It took a while to get my license due to DMV stuff so I wasn't licdnsed until closer to late June. In that time I was doing drills in my neighborhood/apartment's parking lot. I wasn't able to ride much in July for different reasons but in the past couple of weeks I've taken my bike to work nearly every day and I feel really comfortable on that commute.
Today was the first day I took it to the next town over where my best friend lives. I got up to ~55mph and around some mountain curves (not sharp ones). It was scary and exciting and beautiful and felt really good! This feels like a major milestone and I'm really proud of myself!
Congratulations!!! Last night I (40f) hit a personal best of 60mph and rode on a busy road that i wasn't personally comfortable with previously. I've had my bike since mid June and took the MSF class last week.
