Hi everyone! I’m looking to move to Newport Richey because I’ve heard it’s warmer I’ve heard the atmosphere is better. Also heard that the housing is better
I was born with a disability so I am on disabled benefits. Because of being on disabled benefits I live in section 8 unfortunately as much as I would rather not because of the sigma that it has. I’m just your normal citizen who happens to be disabled.
My current living conditions are less than subpar in recent years I have been through a lot so I thought it might be nice to move out of state somewhere warmer somewhere where it’s more conducive for me.
I’m on housing benefits I’ve looked at Pasco County and it states that section 8 is closed for this particular county. I already have a section 8 voucher in my state. So my question is, if I get my voucher ported to New Port Richey does that still allow me to have section 8 available or is it still closed as per the county? Sorry for the rambling I just wanted to provide a little bit of background.
While I have heard great things about the area local opinions would be welcome!
