Our baby has always had difficulty sleeping - we tried sleeping training and it didn’t feel like the right fit for his temperament. I made peace with having to rock or feed him a few times a night until he doesn’t need that anymore, but things are getting even harder now. Now he isn’t falling asleep when I rock and feed him as easily. Sometimes it’s fine, but at least once a night he is laying in my arms but not able to fall asleep. If I put him down he panics. We sometimes resort to cosleeping and he just tosses and turns between us until he’s ready to sleep.
I don’t know what to do. My partner does not want to sleep train, I also am afraid he’s a sensitive child and doesn’t respond well to it. Is this the endless 8/9/10 month regression???? He is learning a lot of new skills - learned to walk recently. I don’t know if this is a vent or needing advice or both… just literally so tired and my body hurts from trying to put him to sleep.
