Breastfeeding plus a bottle

Post Body

I’m 90% breastfeeding my 6 week old baby, my husband gives her a bottle every evening. I find close to the time that she gets the bottle she gets fussy on the breast and I have difficulty soothing her. She’s super calm when he feeds her, and it’s getting to me.

This morning she kept screaming while trying to latch, eating a bit and then screaming. I try and burp her, because maybe she’s uncomfortable? Then she starts eating her hand again, and we do the cycle all over again.

Is this just the 6 week fussiness? I feel like my breasts aren’t doing enough for her and I just bawled while trying to comfort her. Part of me just thinks she’s tired and trying to sleep, but she calms so much with the bottle that it makes me feel like something is wrong with me.
