Thought it would be fun to compile a sleep deprivation mishap thread.

Here's mine at 1 week old-

You know you're sleep deprived when:

-You almost put formula in your coffee instead of creamer - You sweep up around the house and go to put the broom in the refrigerator - Your cat makes a noise that sounds like a baby and you get up to check on your baby and you're holding your baby already - you leave a piece of toast in the toaster oven for 24 hours - my wife was talking to our son about all the family he'll meet- "you get to meet Grandma, and Grandpa, and Auntie, and Beyonce...wtf? Why did I say Beyonce?" -at the inlaws for dinner, FIL is going to grill some steaks and I'm trying to tell him he can grill outside under the patio umbrella, but I said napkin for some reason 🤷‍♂️

I'll update as more shenanigans occur. Would love to hear yours!

Nodded off for a moment and woke up and freaked out bc you fell asleep holding the baby and now you're looking for the baby bc he's not in your arms but you realize your husband was holding the baby the whole time anyway.

There was probably some pp anxiety mixed into that one lol
