I noticed that Nick's mom and Jess' clothes match in this episode. I don't know if it's meaningful or anything but it happens several times so it seems intentional at least. At first it's not in the same scene bc when they get to Chicago and do introductions Jess is still wearing her coat and Nick's mom has a dark blue sweater on, but then Jess' next scene she's in her pajamas which are dark blue. The next day they're both wearing black and turquoise clothes, then at the funeral Jess is in all black with a gold collar and Nick's mom in all black with a gold/pearl necklace. And then when they're saying goodbye they both have a purple coat with black piping.
