Ok, so online it recommended waiting until 6 months to use the high chair and it gives safety reasons about the baby not being ready to eat in it.
What if I just need a place for the baby to chill desk level from time to time while I work? Can I put my 2 month old in the high chair or are there risks I'm not seeing?
He can hold his head up relatively well without assistance, but cannot sit up on his own. We have set him in it from time to time, and the only thing I can think of an issue is that when he's tired he slouches in the buckles. But that's why Im next to him, so when he starts dozing I can just take him out and put him to bed. I don't leave him unattended.
Is using the highchair this early bad for their development, or is it ok to use it to keep the baby in place from time to time?
(Also, what reddit do I go to ask questions in when he's no longer a newborn, 2 months is a lil past the cusp.. but i can't post in r/baby...)
