My first book of my series, “True Winter” has been released. This experience has been one of the toughest and most rewarding challenges that I’ve ever done. My respect for all authors has increased immeasurably during this process. Besides the determination and hard work, it takes self-discipline to sit down and write on a regular basis. While finishing your story is a splendid feeling, having people read your story and witnessing the wonder in their eyes is almost euphoric in a way. I love seeing readers talk about the story line, ask questions, create theories, and let their imagination run wild.
True Winter is about the two estranged brothers: one who personifies Death and the other personifies Life. One brother grew up alone without a family and accepts Death as it presents itself whereas the other experienced a dream-worthy upbringing and strives to preserve Life at all costs. As they go through different situations, they must decide whether life is worth living or if death is the only answer. Should life be cherished and death embraced, or is there a compromise in between?
