Hey guys
The above line is from Feeling is the Secret, from the first chapter titled Law and its Operation.
Since many of you have read this, I would like some help interpreting what he was trying to say. This chapter speaks about the importance of paying attention to your feelings and moods so as to not impress the subconscious with a feeling you don't want. He then speaks about disease and how emotional disturbances are the causes of disease.
I'm not too sure what 'objective results in disease' mean. Is he talking about obvious indicators of the disease and the diagnosis and prognosis?
Let me take my condition. I have psoriasis on my scalp and the doctors say it's a manageable condition which is lifelong and won't go away. Apart from this, I see my scalp flake and I see the particles on my hair, shoulders etc. So there are obvious indicators of the disease which get me frustrated for sure(detached I'm not too sure).
So is Neville advising not to feel regret or failure about it? Its not adding up for me but I have a tendency to not think simply and this may be very clear to most of you so please help me understand this line. P.s.i do get what he says about emotional disturbances resulting in disease. I just need help understanding that one sentence.
Thanks in advance
