Best Artifact set?

So I just got my dos bard the journals set and have felt good about it, but ive been told the stars set is a better fit. Is this true? I do have the pages for both envenomed and frost so I wasn't too sure if this was a bad investment. Edit: Thank you all for your suggestions! I accidentally said bard instead of barbarian. Nonetheless I am going to work towards the star set an try to unlock VOS in the next 2-3 weeks. Thank you again for your advice!
