Hi Nevadans! I got fantastic recs from you last week and am SUPER excited to start driving this weekend. One last question for you all: public hot springs? I'm told this is a thing in your state.
I'll be driving from the Medford, OR area to Thunder Mountain Monument, either by taking 44 south through northeast CA until hooking north on 80 at Reno, OR by coming down 140 through northwest NV to 95, through Winnemucca (I'm leaning toward this route).
From Thunder Mountain, I'll take 95 south to Berlin Ichthyosaur State Park, then 6 east across the state to the Great Basin and Charcoal Ovens parks.
Is there anywhere awesome to stop for a hot soak and/or camp on the way to Thunder Mountain or Berlin Ichthyosaur Park, or across highway 6?
