Moca/Ethernet adapters, can you run from ONT directly to Fios modem?

Will this work? Posted something similar but wanted to make sure I got clarity:

Issue: Running ethernet from ONT to my living room will be very difficult since it's an old apartment and no line is run.

Suggested approach:

Proposed system: https://imgur.com/a/Hf3ghZ5

ONT (ethernet mode) --> 2.5 Moca Adapter --(coax)--> Fios G1100 modem using Moca

Basic idea is to try to use a single Moca adapter to send the ONT's connect over RG6 instead of ethernet directly to the Fios G1100 router which would pickup WAN using the Moca port.

Would this work? Or would I absolutely have to get a second Moca adapter to convert back to ethernet, and then plug that into the ethernet WAN port?
