Semi-noobish rules question regarding damage.
Post Body

I'd previously thought only brain damage could kill a runner, but tonight my friend and I re-read the rules as we were playing. Unless I'm mistaken, ANY damage can kill a runner if they don't have the cards to discard. Knowing this, should I basically assume I always need 3 cards in my grip when running against Jinteki (which has a 3 net damage Ice?) Or does flatlining not apply until the end of the turn?

I'm not the most experienced player, but it just seems really rough to have to always draw up to 3 cards before making a run. :x
