Hi all, i am in the us and i bought something off facebook that was shipped using postNL. It's been about 2 weeks and the tracking info hasn't been updated beyond "sent to destination country". I'm kind of assuming this is partially due to covid though looking up reviews this also seems to be a common complaint.

Tl;dr, my question is, what exactly is postNL? Is it a national service, like what the usps is to the us, or is it a private courier company?

To those in the same boat someone shipping to me from japan said that stuff is only going by boat, no parcels being shipped on planes, idk but this could be a similar story elsewhere.
