Good evening everyone.
As in title - I am currently in therapy to get over my mental problems/depression.
I am paid by my employer my full sallary, according to my contract. Once every 6 weeks I have a phone call from arbo arts and we discuss my progress and possible time I could return to work.
During last call (3/4 weeks ago) he recommended me to go back to my work place for "re-integration", once in a week to drink a coffe and to see and chat with my colleagues. I found this idea silly - just to be there, drink coffee and go home after. I work in a ship construction, let's say it's fairly hard work. I would feel really embarrassed and anxious to see my friends working when I would be there only to sit and have a drink. Of course I mentioned these arguments during phonecall and didn't agree with arbo doc reasoning.
Anyway, last week I got an email and a letter from my company, that since I am not following instructions and I am not in contact with them about my situation they have a legal possibility to cut my further payments.
To sum up everything above, my question is: what is the range of decisions that arbo arts can make in my case? Since he is not a person who is treating me? Am I forced to follow his orders?
Sorry for a very long text and thank everyone for helpful answers. Cheers.
