Netflix no longer showing Japanese content

Post Body

Hi everyone, so I've got a Sony x900h smart tv and had both expressvpn and Netflix on it.

I would connect the expressvpn to Japan and would be able to watch Japanese content (anime specifically) without any issues until 2 days ago.

Now, for some reason, even though I've tried multiple Japanese servers and I've tried clearing the caches and restarting the tv, it is not showing me Netflix Japan.

When using www.speedtest.net, I am shown to be in Japan so it doesn't look like I'm geographically got problems. But maybe Netflix has done something recently.

Does anyone know?

[UPDATE FROM EXPRESSVPN]

Thanks a lot for trying our suggestions.

We've just informed that this might be an issue and it has been escalated to the appropriate team.

I've also checked but it appears that Jojos Bizzare Adventures is no longer available on Netflix, thus, you can't find it even while connected to the VPN.

In the meantime, may we know if you wish to access other shows or movies so that we can try to look into other regions for you to access? You may also try visiting this 3rd party website where you can check the content you want to see on Netflix to determine which country has it. Please be advised that ExpressVPN is not affiliated with this site and is not responsible for any misinformation listed in it. If you are okay with it, you may go to www.unogs.com and search by the title.

We'll be sending you an email confirmation once we've got a resolution on our end. Thank you for your understanding. Have a nice day!
