I had an electrician come over the other day to install a doorbell transformer and run the wiring for the doorbell. I originally bought an electronic chime and it would not stop ringing once everything was connected.
Here are the wires coming out of the wall at the chime. The pair on the left go to the doorbell and the pair to the right go to the transformer in my breaker box. Google's installation video only shows one pair of wires coming out of the wall, which is what the puck gets connected to. If I'm not mistaken, the transformer should have one wire from the doorbell and the chime both connected, right?
Is there any way to salvage this, or am I going to have to run some additional wiring? At this point, I refuse to call the electrician back.
