Post Body

Hello, This thread has brought me new hope. I had a new AC unit installed 3 years ago and was unable to figure my issue then with my Nest Gen 3. My upstairs thermostat is setup as a dual fuel unit where i have a heat pump and AC. I have my boiler set as the emergency heat for when it’s under 40 degrees out. Of note, this configuration has never worked. When my AC kicks on it would short cycle my boiler for a few seconds, then kick off. To solve this I’d just remove the wires in the summer on the heater to not have both running. Today I did test the wires Rh and C and got 13.6 on my meter when set to Vdc 200. From other threads that should be 24-28, but i don’t understand why. Any help with this would really be great!
