Not receiving notifications from Nest Video Doorbell Battery

I have a Nest Video Doorbell Battery and I notice that I haven't been receiving push notifications to my iPhone for more than a month. I tried some troubleshooting and here's what I did:
- Checked notification settings, internet connection
- Restarted device
- Factory reset the device
Still nothing. I also read that this has been an ongoing problem to some users as well, both iPhone and Android phone users. The support website is also not that helpful.
Anyone who has found a solution to this problem?
