Hi everyone. Last week, I split up my first ever nepenthes into quite a few seperate plants, a few with roots and a few propagated. All day yesterday it was super cloudy so i brought them out where it normally receives direct sun for most of the day. Figured it would be nice to give them some bright indirect light for the day instead of full shade and some bright indirect light. I know they were in full recover mode but i didn’t even think twice about it. I checked the forecast before going to bed, and it said it would be cloudy all day today too. I accidentally slept in for another couple hours, and of course woke up to the sun blazing 24° weather and panicked. Went outside to check on them, and photo #3 is what i saw. So, i think they were cooking in their humidity dome for at least 4-5 hours. Mostly brown and shriveled, with the ones that had some roots being slightly sad and shriveled but a few still pretty green. In my devastation and panic I cut off all the browned stuff including the pitchers, and put it back in the shade immediately. feeling pretty sad but i am slightly hopeful that these little guys can still survive. I know i went wrong all over the place here, not looking to be laughed and pointed and just looking for hope and advice on how to nurture them back. Soil looks like mostly perlite but i just covered the top. It’s mostly long fiber sphag with a decent bit of perlite. Thank you all so much <3 First photo is what they looked like two days ago. removed my rebecca sopers from that humidity dome that same day so they are still fine and doing great i just X’d them out for that reason.
