MDMS registration process changed

Did you guys noticed it or not, but the smartphone registration process in MDMS has changed now. You now need passport, purchase bill and immigration stamp to register it on the portal. Its applicable for foreign visitors as well. This raises question:
- How a person who bought phone 3-4 years back is supposed to have a purchase bill?
- what about smartphones bought from India?
