Guides for continental tent stitching?
Post Body

Hello everyone. I was gifted a small kit by my grandmother. Iโ€™m more of a cross stitcher, but she doesnโ€™t do needlework, and got me a needlepoint kit instead. Particularly it seems to be one done on 25ct even weave and it is all in continental tent stitch. I have very limited knowledge of needlepoint. Most of the guides I have found online (and my own limited tent stitching) seem to be focused on simple rows. Are there any blogs/videos/diagrams out there that tackle how to keep the tent stitch when you have confetti or even jumping back and forth between different rows? I keep switching to regular half stitches when I move around (probably just by habit from cross stitching). Any help is appreciated for a newbie needlepointer ๐Ÿ˜Š
