Short version....I don't want to do the niceties 5000 times and never hear from anyone again.

Self proclaimed introvert, though I've never taken "the test", I just tend to be a bit reserved....until I'm not lol.

Like the title says I'm a 36 F. I work nights as a police dispatcher and spend my days being Mama to 2 girls who are my sun and moon.

Working nights I have a lot of time on my own and I'm just looking for people to talk to and actually get to know. Scrolling through these posts I see a commonality most of us share. We all want to KNOW someone. I've never been the type of girl that had 20 friends all waiting to hear from me but as I've gotten older my 1 or 2 good friends have all kind of...meh'ed out. We don't talk. We don't know each other anymore. As I type this trying to think of names of my closest friends I realize I don't have anyone I look forward to hearing from just because. It's always something is needed. I'd like to know someone just because we want to.

I read A LOT. Mostly fantasy but with a sprinkling of everything else thrown in. My taste in music ranges from Here come the Mummies(bonus if you know who they are) to Disney soundtracks to Sleep Token and just about anything else.
