I'm a 38 year old photographer, artist, musician, overall creative type who wants to make a new friend/connection. Maybe it's you!

About Me:

• I'm a 38 year old latino male, born and raised in the Washington DC area. I'm 6'2, shaved head, tan skin, glasses. Think Fat Joe meets Walter White.
• I love art and it's a big part of my life. My first love was portrait art as a kid, I started playing guitar at 15, later I got into photography and I LOVE to cook also. My current focus is photography.
• I'm a big fan of horror movies, stand up comedy , the paranormal, vinyl records and guitar. I love to laugh and make others laugh, with a bit of dark humor.
• I'm a Leo and INFP, if that matters to you.
• I don't consider myself religious but I do follow some Stoic and Buddhist ideas.
• I'm 420 friendly but am currently re-evaluating the role of cannabis in my life. I like the idea of it being for special occasions.
• I was in a 7 year relationship that turned into an engagement and we broke things off last year. Currently single and am doing a lot of self work to become a better person.
• Currently live in the DC area but I'm open to moving. Waiting out a lease though.
• I used to consider myself liberal, these days I find myself to be a little more centrist, honestly.
• I work for myself(as a photographer) and also have a part time job at the local camera store.
• I'm a city boy and didn't learn to drive until about 2 years ago, but haven't driven much since. That sentence alone really confuses people but I just take public transportation everywhere. I lived in NYC for several years as well so it wasn't an issue. I'm working on getting back in the saddle now that I'm considering a move.
• I strive to be a good person. I don't always succeed, but I always try.
• Honesty is huge with me. I tell the truth 98% of the time. Someone once stopped talking to me because I didn't say 100% of the time, but that in and of itself would have been a lie. Sometimes a lie must be told to spare someone's feelings. But I wouldn't lie about anything of true substance.

What I'm looking for:

If you've gotten this far I want to talk to you. Just looking for someone friendly to talk to about anything. I'm good at keeping a conversation going but I expect you to hold your own. I can't stand people who send one word answers and don't give me much to work with. I'm a very verbose person when I type. I'm actually an introvert but I can fool people into thinking I'm an extrovert sometimes. So feel free to reach out and tell me a little about yourself. Hope to hear from you!
