Towering kills monolith.

I wanted to try out the hypercrypt monolith shenanigans in a friendly game. Fought guard and they got turn 1. His banesword (pretty sure that's the name) didn't just 1 round my monolith. It's big 4 damage cannon one shot it. 24 wounds went through even with my 4 strategem.
Not being able to use terrain to hide a monolith is balls. Love to hear thoughts or strats or whatever. At this point it was so devastating and trivial I likley won't be touching that model again this edition.
