Mechanics, don't low-ball electrical knowledge
Post Body

I'm just a simple MMN1(SS). Been in about 10 years and getting out soon. Applied to Volvo for a multi craft maintenance tech position and did not pass my electrical hands on portion. Did my best to cram, but I'm not well versed in trouble shooting electrical circuit faults with a multi meter so I did not even get to take the mechanical hands on test which I'm sure I would have crushed. Word to the wise, a lot of maintenance tech positions are now requiring not only an understanding of electrical theory, but a bit more in depth experience with hands on troubleshooting. I'm disappointed, but recognize that these are areas I can improve upon on my own.
