Navajo Housing Authority Dog Control
Post Body

Hereā€™s a little rant I want to put out there.. so, when I go back to my Dadā€™s side of the family, they live within the NHA. I thought ā€œRez Dogsā€ are suppose to be controlled. I tried to look up policies on this online but there isnā€™t. Then I came across that poor child that was attacked by those dogs, and they havenā€™t set a policy in place for that. Or the Navajo Nation President/Council has not considered making it a law where Public Residential Areas should have a law for this.

Last week, I was taking off my stuff off my car.. and these pack of dogs came running towards me, started growling/barking at me. I had to get back in my car and call my dad out to help me. The next day I called the NHA asked around about this.. all they told me was.. ā€œHow many dogs? Iā€™m sorry we donā€™t have a Animal Control for that.ā€ So youā€™re telling me I have to be attacked first for them to do something. This is ridiculous, I have to carry my dog spray (pepper spray for dogs) to get them away from.
