Essentially im working on the foundation of a fanfic I plan to have take place after the war in NOP 1 but way before NOP 2 on the Darkside of Skalga

The one sentance synopsis is

A human migrates to an alien world that is suffering social and economic upheaval after a generational war that has left deep rifts and trauma, only to discover with horror at his new mining job how little worker protections exist, in this climate she along with some other humans will shatter a rural mining town's biases towards humans by teaching the alien workers the power of true solidarity and a union and in doing so betters the lives of all sapients on not just Skalga but in the Orion Arm.

Cold rual forever winter mining towns in perpetual night

Gritty hard rock miners of both Venlil and Human

Needlessly dangerous working conditions

A push for the Venlil equivelant of OSHA

Venlil confused why they had not came up with the idea of a Worker Union but "Predators" did.
