The black on the bottom represents the ash of Nishtall, the blue representsents a clean open sky.
The Red is a mixture of the Krakotl beliefs around "Fire Birds" aka the red feathered members of their species and fire and the Terran Mythology of the Phoenix
The Blue Hands is the UN and Humanity, and how despite the pain the Krakotl caused to humanity how they are still offering peace where possible and helping them "Rise out of the Ashes like a Pheonix" to rebuild and make something better
