I’m told I have thick 3C hair but I don’t know… it’s low porosity and gets really dry and tangled. I tried using coconut oil to keep it from drying out but it started leaking out of my hair. It was all on my face and neck… I have no idea how to style it. It looks dry and gross when I leave it out but when I put it up it gets even more tangled and looks a mess. I don’t know what to do anymore, I’ve spent hundreds of dollars trying different shampoos and conditioners, detanglers, masks, oils… nothing seems to be working. I feel so ugly whenever I have to do my hair, I keep thinking about just going back to leaving it straightened but I don’t want it to be damaged even more… but I just don’t know what to do!
Step one: Love thyself
We all at some point have had a complex about our hair I’ve been dealing with my natural hair since I was a kid I’m 29 now so maybe that’s why my opinion is the way it is
No fr it’s sad. how old are you? As black women maintaining our hair is something we LITERALLY GROW UP DOING. WTF ARE YOU TALKING AB BRUV
