i have a hybrid schedule for a company i’ve been working for for almost two years. i recently started going into the office as i wanted a promotion (got it), but have worn my hair up every time i go in. not because i don’t like my hair, but because it’s just easier for me to not have my hair in my face. today i went in with it down after working from home for two weeks due to me having covid, and lordddd the COMMENTS. for the most part they were flattering, but one of my coworkers who i don’t particularly like asked me while making a “afro” hand motion, “is that a side effect from having covid?” i was appalled and simply said “this is my hair.” i told my supervisor and she said the guy has over 10 HR complaints against him. i really don’t want to report him because it’s not worth the effort knowing he has 10 complaints and HR clearly isn’t doing anything, but wheww i had to come here and share. corporate america is something else, truly
is that a side effect from covid is wild💀💀
