Long post but I wanted to share what knowing your body can do to help you when charting. I’m TTA!
This is my first time using NC after being on the IUD, but I am not new to tracking my cycles and cervical fluid, I’ve never tracked my bbt.
I had to exclude my first 6 temps because I was sick with Covid (as you can see in first picture it increases my cover line significantly)
Then, I had an outlier on CD23. I had a temp of 97.11 but also noticed that my watch had come loose during the night. I forgot to exclude the temp until today when I still hadn’t received any green days despite knowing I had very clearly ovulated CD20.
I cleared out the temp and very quickly got a green day!
However, as you may notice, I had unprotected (withdrawal) sex on CD 23. I DO NOT! recommend this if you are not educated on cervical fluid and how to understand your peak day. On CD23 I had 3 dry days by 6pm as per FAM and considered myself safe.
Additionally, I could have comfortably had intercourse up to CD16 as you can see in the chart I use to track my cervical mucus changes, but decided to play it safe this month.
I’m very grateful I have a rather regular cycle and going into this knew I ovulate later in my cycle as well as how to listen to my body and I highly recommend that people learn to track their cervical mucus as it’s the most reliable indicator of fertility.
