First yard in over a decade
Post Body

I am renting a house with a huge yard starting in March. Part of the lease is that I am required to do yard maintenance (which is why it's so cheap).

I'm SO EXCITED to be able to plant native plants! It's going to be difficult to keep it to a reasonable level to start. What do you wish you'd know when you got started?

I'm in Manitoba 3b or 4a, depending on which map I look at. It's full to partial sun.

Edit: Thanks everyone! I'll try to remember to post pictures!
