Sometimes just had a nasty surprise when hike in a very secluded hiking trail in a very north country

This is place in northern Ontario North of the the city Sudbury,and hardly have anyone nearby, the goatwead and periwinkle occupied a big area and chomping out native plants, i usually bring plastic bag when I go hiking to pick up plastic bottles or garbage but this time i spent an hour pulling out a whole bunch of these invasive things, cdnt kill them but slow them a little bit to cover up the area, sometimes I just don't understand how these plants happen to be in a deep forest hiking trail
