Are Komplete Kontrol keyboards serial-linked to your NI account?

I already own Komplete 11, so I have the Komplete Kontrol software. Iām considering buying a secondhand KK controller from Craigslist. If the previous owner does not transfer the software license over to my account, will I still be able to use every feature of the controller?
