So as we all know, the Nats have a bit of a bullpen problem. While reminiscing on the past couple seasons, I remembered a certain Doug Fister (bear with me here). I noticed he is still unsigned. What if the Nats signed Foster, but instead of using him as a starter, pulled a John Smoltz and made him a Closer or at least some kind of reliever. Am I crazy!? Or could this could actually work? I know it more than likely won't happen because it would mean designating someone for assignment or whatever to make room for him, but could y'all humor me and entertain it as a hypothetical at least? I think it would be worth a shot at least.
