National Park experiences during past government shutdowns?
Post Body

My wife and I are heading to AZ after Christmas to visit Petrified Forest NP, Canyon de Chelly NM, the Grand Canyon, and Saguaro NP. Given the reasonably high possibility of a government shutdown by week's end, I am somewhat concerned about what the access to these parks will look like.

Do any of you have any previous experience with visiting these or other parks during the 2018 shutdown?
