Yeah this guy's videos are consistently well-researched and not just lazy ranking or complaining like most National Park content I've seen. Man has a real appreciation for all of our public lands, not just the most popular
Disagree. We need to move past the idea National Parks are only to protect the most visually stunning areas of the country, and see them as a celebration of all of the diverse landscapes our country contains. Why is a mountain more important than a prairie or a forest? Thereâs beauty and important habitat there as well.
I fundamentally disagree that national parks are only merited on scenic beauty. The system needs to celebrate all of our diverse country, not just the ones that look the best on Instagram. Some of the âworstâ parks are biodiversity wonderlands that protect unique environments. Cameron has another great video about that https://youtu.be/-KO6Qe-hFwc?si=Z2xAstj2cNDCmyEd
So was White Sands as a Monument. Donât see people complaining about that one because itâs âprettierâ
Indiana Dunes are actually an incredibly diverse and unique ecosystem. Theyâre deserving and weâre almost one of our earliest parks until WWI changed our nationâs priorities
Theyâd expand the area of the park and incorporate more natural areas as well

I get that, but weâve had Mesa Verde as a National Park for over 100 years. I have my issues with the proposal as well, but they will expand it beyond just what is now Ocmulgee Mounds NHP
