There was a story, where Naruto became a pariah in the village and his family (Minato, Kushina, and his one brother and two sisters). Had become crippled in a fight and was sent to live in a shed outside the village. Sacrificed himself to bring back his brother “the chosen one” only to be brought back by a replacement pein to attack Konoha.

Had broken out of his mind control and became the hero of the leaf at the cost of his undead life. Family apologizing and everyone trying to make amends as Naruto accepts it, albeit bitterly.

I cannot for the life of me think of the name of this story. It’s on Fanfiction.net but that’s about all I remember about where to look. Comment if you even know what I’m talking about or send me good stories that are similar.
