Does anyone else see Naruto as a profound show?

Post Body

Ever since I started watching, I realized that Naruto is not really a show about ninjas fighting, or at least it isn't to me. The fighting is dope, but it is nothing in comparison to the emotional aspect and perspective on life that the show has.

Maybe it's just me, but I truly see Naruto as a profound series. There are so many moments, even from the very beginning such as when he chooses to not run and stand up to Zabuza to get his headband back, that make me think that there is always something much deeper going on in the subtext than in the action that speaks about life itself.

The show has really influenced my thoughts. Anyone feel the same?
