A hypothetical for everyone to wrap their heads round. What if 5KS Sasuke had, on his way to the summit, changed his mind and wanted to carry on Itachis wishes and help the leaf and therefore Pain was sent to kill him (just for the sake of the battle let’s say he’s alive)
