For a bit of context. My oldest (m10) was watching a bit of Boruto with me and had asked if he could see the start of it all. I agreed and offered for his sister (F9) to join us. Having seen the show myself I didn't think it was too bad for them to watch as long as I was there with them so if something inappropriate for their age came up that I simply forgot about I could turn it off skip past it and explain in in a way that kept the story going for them but also was more age appropriate.

I wanted to chronicle a bit of what they asked about and share this experience with my fellow Naruto fans out there so hopefully you all enjoy this kind of thing.

So far they are through the written exam of the Chunin Exams and so far both love it. My son especially has enjoyed the fighting while my daughter has enjoyed more of the character stories.

They both have their favorite characters with my sons favorite being Naruto himself and my daughters being Sasuke.

They both freaked out seeing some of the hype moments so far like Naruto vs. Haku or both of the Kakashi vs. Zabuza fights particularly the second with our first glimpse of Lightning Blade (using dub name here for simplicity since we're watching the dub). Gaara's introduction was the only thing that had them completely speechless and I genuinely can't wait for them to see Gaara vs. Rock Lee especially since they think Lee is such a weird character.

I'll be sure to update things as we make out way through it and if anyone has any questions they want to ask about the show for them to answer I'll do my best to ask them.
