Should I watch Boruto after watching Shippuden with my girlfriend?

Hello everyone! I have been watching Naruto shippuden with my girlfriend and she is loving it so far. We watched the original and she was hooked really fast. I was wondering if Boruto is worth watching after we are done with shippuden? I remember I tried to watch Boruto when it was first coming out but I didn't like it nearly as much. That was years ago though so maybe I can give it another chance.
