in my early teens i thought this; in my late twenties i still think this.
i just get so triggered when people try to control others. kakashi says revenge isnāt worth it. so? who are you, kakashi, to take that experience away from him? cuz you guys are āthe sameā?? naruto is lamenting about everyone who risked their lives to retrieve him. ok and??? sasuke never asked them to. he. left. freely. all he wants to do is kill itachi. he never said anything about revealing leaf village secrets. let. him. goooooooooo.
(i also completely understand learning from your elders and those wiser, and iām so jealous of people who can do that. however, as an extremely arrogant person, iām telling you, let them fuck around and find out. thatās how i learned/learn. donāt lose your hair and raise your cortisol levels trying to control someone who is just gonna do what they want to do. warn them once, and after that, i truly believe youāve done your civic duty.)
anywayā¦ iāve never finished the whole series so maybe at the end everything makes sense.
edit: a lot of the comments are making me so freaking excited for whatās coming š¤©
another edit: these are just my thoughts. i still do love the story and the show.
