Two homegroups?
Post Body

Hi! So, to preface this, I plan on asking around (asking my sponsor, people who have done service longer than me, etc) about this, but it honestly only occurred to me a couple hours ago and it's the middle of the night here.

Extra context; I'm still a bit new (between 90 days and 6 months clean since my relapse, which was brief. Been attending meetings regularly since jan/february aside from that.)

So, I have a homegroup in which I attend every business meeting, have a yearly service position (GSR-A) and often take on monthly roles (there's not a huge turnout for this meeting right now, so we end up with more open positions than people at the business meetings, lately.).

My sponsor doesn't attend this meeting, but he did just open a new one. I went to the first meeting of it last night, and was super into the format of it, the space, vibe etc. I'm doing my best to help with setting up the group and plan on going to the business meeting.

I'm just wondering, what are the rules- (are there rules?) -about having multiple homegroups? I'm guessing I can't take on two yearly service positions, and of course I can only represent one group at area, but what about voting at group business meetings?

What literature would you recommend to learn more about this?

thanks!
