Hi everyone I’m having a dilemma at the moment, my housemate just moved out of my spare bedroom and the next person I can get in that space to help with the expensive rent is a friend who I used to smoke and party with.. he said he wanted to quit and is down to once a week. I found out today that he is still in fact smoking weed and like a lot of it… now I’m 6 months sober and clean.. but could so easily relapse….just before I found out he was still all day smoking bongs we had both agreed a week from now that he would move in. I’m five months pregnant (donor baby) and currently going through custody battles for my first young one ( because of my drinking and drugging on the weekends while she was at her dad’s..got out of hand ) so I don’t want drugs in my home especially considering my fragility and pregnancy and that custody battle … am I the asshole if I tell him I can’t let him move in? I don’t know what I’m going to do about rent now and I could very well lose my rental before baby is born if I can’t get someone in the spare room and strangers are just not an option for me
