I have an H and I service position, going into a detox clinic. My question for the community is what are some questions that you wish you had the answers to when you first got clean or when you were thinking about attending your first meeting? I want to avoid boring my audience with war stories or give my strength, experience and hope. My intention is to educate and clear up any misconceptions about recovery, to best carry the message to the addict who suffers.
And if you’re reading this and no one has told you: you are a miracle.
