Will NA take me seriously?
Post Body

Will NA take me seriously if I go in with a 4 year chronic, daily history of kratom use? I'm an alcoholic in recovery (3 years in October). I dabbled in methamphetamine usage only during my worst black outs. When I wasn't drunk, I wouldn't use anything except kratom. I hate AA, but I really need a sober community. Ever since I quit drinking, I've been a chronic cannabis and kratom user. I don't even remember how to be "sober-sober" without any crutches to fall back on. I really need that sober connect and am wondering if NA is even worth it to someone who doesn't utilize AA. I am familiar with step work, have obtained several sponsors in the past and have worked through the steps 1.5 times. Any input is greatly appreciated!

ETA: I've been clean from kratom for 39 days and free of cannabis for 2 days today. Struggling pretty badly.
