Post Body

There have been many theories in the field of sociology and criminology regarding what causes crime in one area from another. In the United States, a disproportionate crime occurs in poor inner-city communities( predominately African American) while in Mexico it seems that crime occurs in rural and inner-city areas. In The United States, on the left side of the political spectrum, the theory is that poverty, poor education, high unemployment, racism, and job discrimination correlate with high crime rates, while conservatives make the argument that "Culture" is what determines crime. In Mexico what is the general theory among experts as the root cause of the violence in Mexico?
