What the fuck is up with his death? (El Alvin)

Apparently he died in 2002 as a result of a shootout trying to abduct a rival and his comrades made it look like he killed himself in a hotel in Monterrey, laying him on the bed with a gun in his hand and made it seem like it was because of a heartbreak. Not to mention they failed to get him medical attention after being wounded.
